Suburban Ecosystem Assessment
Arts Alliance Illinois is embarking on a year-long data-gathering process to assess the current landscape of the cultural sector in Suburban Cook County and develop recommendations for the future.
Through rigorous research and thoughtful community engagement, Arts Alliance will develop recommendations aimed at deepening Cook County’s understanding of how to best serve suburban artists, arts organizations, small business owners, creative entrepreneurs, and other members of the creative sector.

We want to hear from you!
As part of an ongoing effort to better understand the importance of arts and culture to suburban Cook County communities, Arts Alliance invites the general public to respond to a short questionnaire.
Things to know:
- We are looking for responses from residents who live in suburban Cook County, or businesses, organizations and municipal offices that serve suburban Cook County. Not sure if you live in Cook County? Click here.
- Responses will be anonymous. Demographic information will be separated from other answers to ensure anonymity.
- Please submit only one response per person. Organizations, departments, and businesses may have more than one staff member respond.
Join us in-person for community feedback sessions!
Join us this summer for a series of community conversations with members of the suburban arts, culture, and creative sector!
These convenings will be opportunities for community members to share the economic impact of arts and culture, highlight specific barriers and needs within their communities, and discuss opportunities for future support.
Stay tuned for announcements about dates, locations, and how to register.
