Internal Instructions to adding a new non-general grant:
  1. Add the id of the new grant to the [Grant Name] AFO Id field. Update the field label to the grant name.
  2. Change the default value of the question "Special Grants Open" to "Yes". To do this, click on the field, then Options, then set the Default Value.
  3. Add the value to the "What are you seeking help about" question
  4. Click on the options (blue gears) for that question and then find "Calculations" in the left side panel
  5. For your new grant, add the value "Grant=Specific" (without quotation marks) in the variable field. This value will be used in the case subject. EX:
     Calculations
  6. Update the question name and values in the field "Related to [Grant Name], what can we help you with?"
  7. In the "Related to [Grant Name]" field, click on Options, then Conditional Rules. Then click edit and add the logic "What can we help you with today?" = [Grant Name]. EX:
    Conditional Logic
  8. Make sure that Salesforce has any new picklist values for types of help (Grant-Specific Support Topic)
  9. In the Salesforce Connector, click "Go To" and then "Get New Salesforce Objects"
  10. After the connector has refreshed, update the mapping for the "Grant-Specific Support Topic"
  11. Update the AFO-Case Mapping in the Salesforce Connector. Make sure that the field alias for the new grant is correct (as of April 2024, it is tfa_6, but this may change when a new option is added later on). Update the name of the grant in the mapping Comment, and confirm that the AFO id is correctly mapped.
Internal Instructions to REMOVE a non-general grant:
  1. Change the default value of the "Special Grants Open" question to "No".
  2. Remove the grant name from the "What are you seeking help about" question
  3. That's it!
