Getting to Springfield
Amtrak has trains operating between Chicago and St. Louis with a stop in Springfield. Check the Amtrak website for details and a hassle-free way to get right to the heart of downtown Springfield.
Springfield sits at the juncture of I-55 and I-72. No matter where you’re coming from in the state, your drive will be four hours or less (unless traffic deals you a bad hand). Google Maps can help you plan your drive.
The State House Inn
The State House Inn is within walking distance to all Pre-Conference, Conference, and Capital Day events. We have a block of rooms reserved for One State guests. This is the recommended hotel for anyone participating in Capital Day!
The flat rate for hotel rooms at the State House Inn is $122/night.

You’re also welcome to email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “One State/Arts Alliance,” the number of rooms you’d like booked, the dates requested, and (optional) number of guests.
The Wyndham is within walking distance to all Pre-Conference, Conference, and Capital Day events. We have a block of rooms secured for One State guests.
Rooms at the Wyndham will be held until April 9, 2023. The flat rate for hotel rooms is $109/night.
