In January of 2007, the Illinois Arts Alliance will turn 25! To celebrate this milestone, the Illinois Arts Alliance's Board of Directors will host a black-tie gala on Friday, November 3, 2006, at the Museum of Contemporary Art Warehouse in Chicago.

To honor IAA's upcoming 25th Anniversary, this year's gala will celebrate the Illinois Arts Alliance and those individuals who have made our work and successes possible. This year we will be honoring one individual who personifies the Illinois Arts Alliance: Alene Valkanas, IAA's Executive Director of 20 years.

In addition, the gala will feature a retrospective of IAA's accomplishments, music for dancing by The Stu Hirsh Orchestra, and a very special performance by noted composer, playwright, actor and concert pianist Hershey Felder. Chicago audiences have loved Mr. Felder in his one-man hit shows George Gershwin Alone and Monsieur Chopin, which played at the Royal George Theatre to sold-out houses.

We hope you will join us for this historic evening. Tables and tickets are available for purchase. A table purchase at the $10,000 level or above provides sponsorship recognition (see below).

Please contact Lauren Bergquist at 312.855.3105, x12, with any questions or to purchase a table or tickets.
